Awww; He's sooo fluffy!
My gorgeous niece got married and her lovely dog (can't remember the name of the breed, but apparently they are like sheepdogs for reindeer in Lapland) was given the leading role of ring bearer. I created this picture for her, which she loves and has given pride of place in her home.
Quintessentially British
I found some Union Jack fabric in my stash, and was trying to think of something inoffensive and British all at the same time. I came up with builder's tea!

Flamingo Cushion
Who doesn't love a mingo?
Initially, I started my craft by making cushions. This one is simple, yet striking. The body is made from a lovely pink velour, which again, I got from my huge stash!
A Clockwork Orange.
This is a film that although I'd like to watch, I can't because I have a severe aversion to eye disembodiment.

Off with their heads!
The Queen of Hearts is depicted as a foul-tempered, tyrannical monarch who is quick to order executions at the slightest offence (well, who wouldn't?).
This is one of my more complex pieces. I resorted to hand-stitching her face as I didn't have faith that my sewing machine would behave itself.
Salvador Dali
Woah, this was possibly the most complex free-motion embroidery project that I have ever undertaken. Although only cream and black fabric have been used, getting all the pieces to resemble Señor Dali was incredibly problematic.

Anatomical Heart
Again, an incredibly complex piece. It's a more serious/ sinister twist to, "Hearts and Flowers"
